Tripp Bible Institute's "Christian Counselor Certificate" is a non-secular certificate, and will NOT qualify you to offer medical, psychological or psychiatric services. You MUST meet certain state and local requirements to operate as a "licensed professional counselor." Our "Christian Counselor Certificate" is evidence of the fact you have received special training as to teaching and advising people regarding what the Bible teaches in matters pertaining to life and godliness and are worthy of receiving payment for ministry services.

You need a minimum of a master's degree to enter the field of Christian (Biblical) counseling. To be "certified" by Tripp Bible Institute as a Christian Counselor, you must earn a "Christian Counselor Certificate" beyond the master's degree level of study.
