Accreditation
Accreditation is NOT required in the USA. Accreditation in the USA is purely voluntary. Religious schools such as Tripp Bible Institute need no secular accreditation because no secular (non-religious) studies are offered.
Tripp Bible Institute's Accreditation
Tripp Bible Institute LLC is NOT accredited by any agency recognized by the U. S. Department of Education (DOE). We do not need or desire such accreditation because we are a single purpose school offering ONLY religious studies and do not offer any secular (non-religious) studies, degrees, or certificates.
Tripp Bible Institute does not seek, desire, or accept government endorsement (accreditation) at any level in order to maintain their strict separation of church and state policies. Too often government-made rules and regulations are contrary to the teaching of the Holy Bible.
Tripp Bible Institute does not accept endorsement (accreditation) from any organization affiliated with any denomination or religious group that teaches doctrines contrary to and in violation of God's Holy Word (the Holy Bible). "If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God" (1 Peter 4:11).
Tripp Bible Institute, LLC operates under the laws of North Carolina pertaining to sole-purpose religious educational schools by offering religious education of which the planned objective is the attainment of a degree in theology, divinity, or any field of religious education based upon religious life equivalency credit and achievement testing which is designed by the institution for career preparation in ONLY religious studies leading only to religious diplomas and degrees (NC State Statue #116-15(d)).
Degree programs of study offered by Tripp Bible Institute have been declared exempt from the requirements for licensure, under provisions of North Carolina General Statutes Section (G.S.) 116-15 (d) for exemption from licensure with respect to religious education. Exemption from licensure is not based upon assessment of program quality under established licensing standards.
The State Authorization Unit of the University of North Carolina System Office serves as the official state entity to receive complaints concerning post-secondary institutions that are authorized to operate in North Carolina. If students are unable to resolve a complaint through the institution’s grievance procedures, they can review the Student Complaint Policy (PDF) and submit their complaint using the online complaint form at
